About Us

Sarah has loved gymnastics, dance and circus since her parents enrolled her at a local "Gym Minis" club when she was two years old. She has since competed regionally in gymnastics and trampolining and studied a broad spectrum of movement styles such as classical ballet, tap, jazz, jive, salsa, street/hip-hop and capoeira.
Sarah learnt to juggle when she was 14 years old and her passion for the big top and everything it embodies grew rapidly. She learnt ground-based circus skills such as juggling, diabolo, devil stick, contact juggling and fire spinning dressed as a "Fairy Love" fairy at summer festivals, and later as a member of the youth circus company, "Lydney State Circus." More recently she discovered aerial circus, which is the perfect fusion of her gymnastic, dance and circus abilities. She has since performed at venues such as The Roundhouse in Camden, toured Madagascar with a French-speaking circus troupe and has recently come back from touring with Giffords Circus with its production of The Saturday Book.
Alongside circus, Sarah loves to write. In her spare time she enjoys composing poetry, songs and prose, which she performs with her guitar at open mic nights and festivals around the UK.

James has been juggling from the tender age of seven, drawing inspiration from local circus workshops, which he attended in his home village of Sturton by Stow. He soon became a master of juggling balls and progressed rapidly to clubs, fire, knives and even axes (which proved a little too dangerous, when he one day sliced through his mattress during one adrenaline-filled practice!). James has since toured Lincolnshire, Sheffield and London with his creative street acts, filled with comedy and, of course, object manipulation.
An element of danger is never far away; with his dare-devil double-stack rola-bola, bounding poweriser stilts and slack line abilities, James' hunger to defy the impossible is insatiable. James has since hosted cabaret nights at Greentop Circus, wowed crowds at Sheffield's Halloween 'Fright Night' and starred as 'Starkey the juggling pirate' in the 2010 Sheffield Theatres' production of Peter Pan at the Lyceum.
